Win a fantastic map from UNRV.com!

We've come up with a great new screen shot competition to be used at a press event later in April. We'll be judging two sections of screen shots, see further details below.
The two lucky winners of this latest competition will each win a map of the Roman Empire made by www.unrv.com.

Screen shot 1 - The Fort at Cilurnum

We would like to show how the virtual world of Roma Victor compares with the same site today. Take a look at this picture of the modern day Chester's Roman Fort.

Can you take a screen shot in roughly the same area of the Fort in the game world of Roma Victor? This competition is only open for 3-weeks and the judging will be carried out by the whole of the RedBedlam team.

Screen shot 2 - The North River Tyne

We'd like to show off the Tyne river in all its virtual glory, we'd like to see realistic screen shots of the river setting or activities along the river. Be creative and be quick, we only have 3-weeks!


By default, you can use the Scroll Lock key to toggle the interface elements, and any screenshots captured using the PrintScreen key will appear as large bitmap (.bmp) files in your Roma Victor\Screenshots directory.

Please compress these images (we suggest using the .jpeg file format) to less than the maximum accepted file size of 500kB and send them in. A maximum of three entries per community member will be accepted. Please send each screenshot separately. Please also be sure to include your RV Community Profile name and a suggested title/caption for your screenshot in the e-mail.

Deadline & entry limits

We can only accept a maximum of three screenshot entries for each setting per community member. All entries must be received by 22nd April 2007. The entries will be judged by the Roma Victor development team and will be used for a media event later in April. The winners will be announced on or by 30th April 2007.
