Helmet_b

This 'Coolus' type Italian helmet is used as armour in Combat.
Description
Helmets were bowls of iron and/or bronze used to protect the wearer from downward slashes and thrusts. They were generally made of one piece of metal, which could make them weak. Consequently, different types of functional decoration appeared over time to make the helmet look better as well as strengthen vulnerable areas. The metal bowl was padded on the inside by cloth rags, held to the head by leather straps, and frequently carried hinged cheekguards to protect the sides of the face in battle. They also often sported plumes or crests to help identify unit and rank of the soldiers in the growing armies of the period.
In game terms, a helmet is a basic piece of armor protecting just the head. It does not protect the face or neck very well.
Helmet_b is the 'Coolus' type Italian helmet. It is made of iron and bronze and features a simple neckguard and cheekpieces. It is a simple and reliable helmet used by the early Roman troops.
Usage
Equip the helmet in your inventory. It will appear on your head and provide protection from hits aimed at the head. The quality will go down slowly in combat.
