Animal Handling

This is the skill used to handle animals with.

Animal-handling is a fundamental skill that consists of the following subsets:

• domestic

• taming

  • dangerous
  • training
• To handle an animal:

You must chase the animal and get in range to be able to spacebar it and click the handle option.

• To train:

  • Find an animal (goat, pig, chicken or cow) and chase it. Every time it runs away, you have a chance of gaining a point in this skill. Since they always return to roughly the same position, a good technique is to simply stand near that "spawnpoint" and let it come to you.
  • When it comes close enough, feed the animal whilst handling it. Animals can eat apples, pears and plums.
