This is a sub-skill of handcraft and is used in making complex tools such as woodplanes and handsaws.

It is also used when repairing some tools, such as sickles and shovels, although the skill is not in itself required to carry out the repair.

Used to make/repair:

• Handsaws
• Woodplanes
• Shovels
• Sickles

Train by:

• With a hammer equipped repair sickles, handsaws and shovels.
• Add a handle to a quern
