Skill Training
The skill system in Roma Victor is based around usage. As you use a certain skill more, it increases in rank. There is a skill cap which limits the total number of skill masteries each character is permitted.This cap is calculated by adding up your intuition and sense and dividing the sum by 5. By maxing your sense (which is an increasable attribute) to 99, you are guaranteed a minimum 20 maxed skills before hitting this cap.
Below are listed various activities used to train different skills.

Animal-handling - chase animals or, if you can get close enough, feed them whilst handling them.
domestic - same as above.
Basic - press F7 repeatedly (you will also get a gain in sense-of-direction and personal skill Sense)
- camping - Add branches to a tent project with hammer_a & add handle_b to a tent project with knife_a
- digging - with shovel_a equipped add water to rettingpit_a also with shovel equipped add mud to charcoal project (you will also get gain in personal skill Fitness)
- distance-running - run! (you will get gain in personal skill Fitness)

- dodge - let others hit you in training with everything unequipped (you will also get skill gain on personal skill Shape)

- parry - let others hit you in training with everything unequipped (you will also get skill gain in personal skill Shape)
- slam - slam an opponent in the head with a shield equipped. (you will also gain in personal skill Shape)
spear - strike a pell with a spear_a (you will also get gains in combat and spear-melee)
- spear-melee - strike a pell with a spear_a (you will also get gains in combat and spear)
- spear-thrown - practice by either throwing a spear at a person or a target
sword - strike a pell with a rudius_a (you will also get gains in combat and shortsword)
- longsword - strike a pell with a longsword_a (you will also get gains in combat and sword, and personal skill Strength)
