Newhome
/Newhome or F10 - Newhome
The command to change your home board.
Barbarians should be able to newhome to any non-Roman board, including wilderness boards, without a problem - unless there's a good reason such as having recently taken part in elections, having only just recently moved etc. Romans should also be able to newhome to any Roman or non-Roman board.
If a Slave moves firstly to a wilderness board, then to a board where a barbarian is currently Lord, then they're considered as a runaway, which will make Roman NPC's hostile. If they manage to survive long enough as a runaway, they will become an escapee and their class will be changed to Free (barbarian).
If a non-Roman board has a Roman Citizen voted into control, the Roman Citizen can petition Rome for support and the board has a chance of becoming a Roman one (i.e. Roman Provincial Law). If this works out the Lord will of course become Magistrate.
If a barbarian moves to a board that is already controlled by Roman law, the Barbarian will become a Slave immediately.
It will always be a great deal easier for a barbarian to become Slave than it is for a Slave to become free.
Attending characters can not move.

If a barbarian /newhomes in a Roman board, he will become a Slave and the new home board will be immediately set for that character.
If a Slave /newhomes on a non-Roman board, he will become a Runaway and have to go through the Runaway process. The home board will not change for now. When the Runaway badge has expired, it becomes an Escapee badge and the character class is set to Barbarian. Escapee barbarians can /newhome in any non-Roman board and retain their new status.
The location your character spawns is decided by home board. If there is no Master or Elder in the home board the character will spawn, according to their character class, in either a Roman or Barbarian town that does have a Master or Elder in it.
